Framed size is 32"x56" beautiful above a fireplace or a piano.  Purchased in 1968 from the artist in person while exhibiting in Marin County, Northern California.  This is a one of a kind painting depicting a golden sunset off the northern coast of California. It's value is based on a search of Classic Art gallery in Carmel, CA. a dealer of Paul Moon originals.  In the 1970's Mr. Moon changed from California Seascapes to the Redwoods of California thus making an original seascape extremely rare and difficult to find.About the artist-All information from www.classicartgallery.com"Born in Wichita, Kansas in 1927, Paul Moon began painting at a young age. His major emphasis in High School was art. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Navy which enabled him to travel the world and to explore the nature's beauty.Between 1950 and 1952, Mr. Moon attended two noted French academies: The Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, and The Academie Julian. There he discovered his own unique style of painting and at the same time he met his wife Betsey. After returning to the United States, he dedicated himself to painting full time.
