A Giclee is the result of a process by which images of the original artwork are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with 8 to 12 fade resistant archival quality inks that form a virtually continuous tone rather than a print formed by tiny dots. With proper care avoiding direct sunlight and using UV protectant glass, a giclee can remain vivid and fade resistant for 150+ years. You are bidding on one unframed/unmatted, signed and numbered Limited Edition (L/E # of 50 starting purchased 1 first - 50 last) Giclee print, from Kristine E. Kasheta's original one-of-a-kind acrylic painting on hardboard of a Sun Conure on a branch near various flowers, during a tropical rain shower, created in 2007. Print will be initialed and numbered on the front and also signed and numbered on the back with the year the original painting was created, using acid-free and permanent ink. Size: Image size 8 x 8 inches Overall size: The 8 x 8" image is centered on an overall size of 8.5 x 11" archival acid-free paper leaving a remaining clean white border for matted framing purposes.
