Description Peter Max UNITED WE STAND from his 9-11 series.  I bought this from Park West Gallery while on a cruise a few years ago as an investment piece.  It has been professionally framed and is PERFECT.  We never even hung it on the wall.  It has been stored safely in a temperature controlled storage unit since it arrived.  The frame stands just over 3 feet tall to give you an idea of the size of this great piece.  This is a mixed media work with acrylic paint on lithograph by Peter Max himself.  His painted signature is on the bottom.  This one has a beautiful olive green along the base.  He used different colors on many of the United We Stand pieces so if you like green, this is a good choice :)  I have all the paperwork and the appraisal.  If you do a little research you will see that the litho/painting alone without frame is going for over $7000 on one site.  This is a STEAL!  The frame alone would cost well over $1000.  The price is well below appraisal value.  I am happy to send tons of pictures to you so email me if you are interested or if you have questions!  I needed to get this listing started tonight.  I am selling it to raise money for my 10th anniversary celebration with my husband; otherwise, we would be holding out for the value to go up even more than it already has.  This is a wonderful piece for an upscale office that wants to express patriotism.  I'm sure any police officer, fireman, government employee, rescue worker or anyone in a similar field would be honored to receive this as a gift or just own it for display and remembrance!  It is truly a beautiful, emotional, and memorable work of art that is directly related to American history.Shipping is a flat rate of $125.00 and will be sent UPS Ground and Insured within 3 days of payment being cleared.  It will be professionally packaged.  Local pick-up is welcome so long as payment has been received beforehand.  A mutually agreed upon location will need to be selected for local pick-up.  If shipping ends up costing less, I will refund the difference.
