You need not have any concerns as to what you are getting: I will provide all information necessary for you to confirm my ownership with the Peter Lik gallery of your choice prior to payment.This is not a reproduction or poster - it is a signed, limited edition silver halide fiji crystal archive print that sold out earlier this year. The following was e-mailed to me by a Peter Lik gallery administrator in February: Date: Fri, Feb 8, 2008 at 7:04 PM[excerpt] The Limited Edition series has actually just sold out as of last week. There are only APs (Artist Proof) left. This print is $24,000, and is an appreciated image due to the high demand, and has had an amazing response. This is one of my all-time favorites. At this price level, I expect that serious bidders are already familiar with Peter Lik, the galleries in Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York City and Miami (my town). You are also already familiar with the spectacular appearance and scope of these prints, and how they appreciate in value from the date of release until they are sold out. As indicated above, the run of this print has sold out, but prior to that it sold in the $15,000-$20,000 range, and now exceeds $22,000. As such, my list price represents HALF of the market price of the piece - a true bargain. The popularity of "Echoes of Silence" is enhanced by its reproduction on the cover of the 2008-2009 Peter Lik calendar, and it is featured prominently on the homepage of the artist at peterlik.com. In short, there is simply no other piece from this artist that has the popularity and exposure of this phenomenal piece of art.Due to the value and heft of the piece, local pickup is preferable, but shipping arrangements are possible and will be at my cost (no markup).
