We're selling this painting for an art collector out of Palm Springs Calif. This collector is also selling another one of his Remingtons through the Heritage auction which the item is also on ebay. please check Ebay item # 170212903147. The collector didn't have time to get this one in the auction so he contacted us and asked if we could sell the piece through Ebay. Well here it is. This is an American soldier during the Spanish American war of 1898 to 1902. This is what a U.S. Sergeant would look like in his full uniform. This is a very simplistic painting that has strict details as to the outfit of the soldier. The painting has some paint loss on the rifle which is in the photos and theres some age spots which also can be seen in the photos. These are minor to what the painting is and how historical it is. Remington's known for Indians but not all people collect indians so heres your chance to aquire a very wonderful piece. It measures 13 3/4 inches by 9 inches.
