These paintings hung in our home and we loved them.  I was told "Hood" was the "Dream" painter; now per his website he is listed as: "Mystical Art" -- I kind of like the Dream Painter ? though. :)   No mater how you list Rance Hood you'll discover his work to be Super / Wonderful.    This picture is of an:  Indian on Horse back shooting a charging Bear.  The detail is fantastic,  PLEASE NOTE:  the background  color is correct in the FIRST TWO photos;  I do not know what my camera did to the color in the other 3 photos? The completed measurment on this is about: 29" x 27"  inside the matted area is about: 20" x 19 1/2" this is framed with glass and matted from the original (as we purchased)  the only issue to be addressed is the brown paper cover on the back has area's where fingers went through as we moved and hung on different walls and moved from place to place.       ******************************************************* Nabbed this information from Rance Hood's own website:     www.rancehood.com   ---- Rance Hood is one of the few Native American artists left who still paints in the manner which echoes the traditional Indian culture and spirituality of the past that has been drastically changed by the modern and white worlds.
