First POW print. Edition 75' Description MONA 2005 is a limited edition, signed screenprint by urban artist Nick Walker, now a Banksy stablemate at POW. Nick is finally gaining recognition in the wake of Banksy’s ascent into artworld orbit. Walker's Moona Lisa canvas sold at London Bonham’s for £54k. This print was the first thing Nick produced for Pictures On Walls (see: www.picturesonwalls.com/Archive4.asp) and kick started a long running obsession with re-interpreting the Mona Lisa. It is from a low run of only 75 and comes signed with the official POW blindstamp. Now here’s the cv bit.  Nick's speciality was squirting walls at 4am to coincide with the shift changes of the Bristol police. He organised the city's first urban art exhibition which featured the work of 3-D, Z Boys, Fade, Jaffa, Pride and fellow Bomb Squad member Scot Steven. He eventually went on to work with the Scrawl Collective.His work has also appeared at the V&A. This print was purchased by me directly from POW. It is 335mmX500mm.
