In this Painting a Lone Raven Journies across a Stormy Sky with a Distant Gothic Cathedral lingering in the Distance. Ravens fill me with so much Wonder ... And as many of you know I've been painting them for quite some time now as a result of this deep seated fascination. The long held Belief in these Mysterious Birds as relating to the Abstract Conceptions of Death & Darkness I find particularly Intriguing. Yet in stories of Scripture, they are depicted as bringing gifts of Life. Such as the story of the Ark, and of the fleeting people in the end of time being literally Fed by Ravens.  Much Time and Minute Detail was Added to this Original Work of Art. Each one of my Paintings is Entirely One of a Kind. This painting will be mailed safely in a clear plastic sleeve and wrapped in a hard envelope.   About the Artist: I have lived in Colorado most of my life,  and over four years ago I decided to make the Beautiful Rocky Mountains of Estes Park my home. My Artwork has been exhibited in several private local Artist Showings and I have also kept an ongoing presence in the Renegade Art Gallery, which is an independant group of Contemporary Artists who reside here in the Estes Park valley. My Work also continues to find a place within the homes of many Private Collectors Worldwide. Including pretty much all over Europe and Canada.  What I have become known for is the Depth of Meaning and often Harsh almost Primitive Treatement and Reshaping of Delicate Subject Matter and the Emotional Response it Inspires. My Explorations in Paint include Surrealism Dreamscapes, Nude Figures, Abstract Portraits, Cat & Crow Caricatures, as well as Landscapes of the surrounding Rocky Mountains. If I could say anything in short as to my Mission here in this Place and Time as an Artist I would sum it up as follows: To Reveal to others the Great Depth of Experience I myself have Found by Peering into the Vast Complexity and Endless Beauty that makes up All Creation.
