He was born in London on August 21, 1855 and began his education as a choirboy at the Estate Art and Antiques   Richard Lang-Heilbronn (1861 - ?)   Great Venice Lagoon scene.     The painting is extremely well done by this well known German artist. The painting is signed and dated lower right. It is fresh to the market and was purchased in a local auction. The artist has created a beautiful image of this magical place, I love Venice. The painting is in excellent condition. The painting measures approx 10 X 20 and is in Excellent condition. It is now in a great antique period black/brown frame with georgeous gold detailed insert inner liner. The frame has been repaired on the left edge and is not what is being offered for sale, although it will be given to the purchaser with the painting. The frame adds approx 5 inches.
