This hard bound limited edition of 26 selected fine art nudes taken by me over my many trips to the Greek Island of Santorini.     SANTORINI NUDES  features models from both the United kingdom and Europe posed on the islands many exotic locations. With each signed edition you get a choice of four of my 8x10 images limited to 25 each mounted to 11x14 acid free 4 ply mount board.  Using traditional wet process on silver gelatin warm tone fiber base paper then selenium toned. Please take the time to view comments left by the collectors that have bought my images on E Bay since 2001, they speak for themselves. I hope you will take the time to view my other weekly auctions, and good luck with your bidding, Art Zilio                BIO:        Arthur Zilio began his affair with photography at the age of ten when his father gave him a Polaroid camera.  But it was not until 1967, while on active duty in the U.S. Army, that his passion for photography blossomed.  Using a 4x5 Speed Graphic, Art taught himself photography during his off duty hours making use of the USO darkroom.    Until 1995 his subjects were mostly black and white landscapes in the grand tradition of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston.  It was in that year, while traveling in Rhodes, Greece, that he was asked to take nude photographs of a young Scandinavian woman for her boyfriend.  Hesitant at first, Art found that the woman’s form flowed with the landscape and added an entirely new dimension to his work.  Since that time he has devoted his efforts to capturing the sexual and sensual beauty of the female form, both in nature and man-made environments, while constantly pushing the limits of his vision.      His work has been exhibited in the U.S. and Europe and is widely collected, over 700 prints having been sold since 2001.  It has appeared in major publications and will be featured in the March 2008 issue of Nude magazine.  A published anthology of his work, Santtorini Nudes, is available his E Bay store.  The book and print set is limited to100 signed editions.
