Description
Banksy Signed Print - Wrong War in the Pax Britannica - A Hellish Peace box set (edition of 96) This an extract from the original sales literature: The boxed set contains 28 signed prints  by the contributing artists plus a burnt page of the hutton report plus a little rant by Ralph Steadman, all housed in an A4 archival clamshell box. Cover label designed by Ralph Steadman and the aquarium. Edition of 100 of which only 96 were completed. The contributing artists were: Banksy, Steve Bell, James Boswell, Alexander de Cadenet, Sir Anthony Caro, James Cauty, Billy Childish, David Gentleman, Richard Hamilton, Cliffoerd Harper, Brian Jones, John Keane, Peter Kennard, Alan Kitching, Jenny Matthews, Paul Mattsson, Danny Mitchell (last 30 boxes) Antonio Pacitti, Jamie Reid, Martin Rowson, Ralph Steadman, STOT21stC (before they became planB), Gee Vaucher. The set is in mint condition - the only time the prints have been removed from the box was for photo purposes. Many of these sets have been broken up and the prints sold individually, so this is a rare chance to buy not only a limited edition signed Banksy print but to own a complete set from the Stop The War Coalition's Pax Britannica Exhibition at the Aquarium. This set is accompanied with full provenance letter from Ruth Boswell, the curator of the Pax Britannica Aquarium exhibition.
