This image was the last plate in that book and is widely known as "At Twelve". The subject is Leah Stone who is now about 30 years old and lives in New Mexico. But in 1988 she was a neighbor and family friend of Sally Mann's in Lexington, VA. and Sally asked her family to sit for this photograph as a study of family and growing up. It really is a beautiful and rich print, I bought it from Sally Mann just prior to the release of that first book that started her fame and have enjoyed it but now it's your turn to own it. I hate to see it go. Image is 13 5/8" x 10 5/8" on 11" x 14" paper with negative edge showing (printed unmasked and uncropped) Signed verso.
