Salvadore Dali “Hommage A Homere” Suite #82 / 350 Helen of Troy & Return of Ulysses Start Price USD 7,000.00 Current Price USD 7,000.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, May 15, 2008 End Time Thursday, May 22, 2008 Location Cheboygan, MI See more about 'Salvadore Dali “Hommage A Homere” Suite #82 / 350' Description Salvadore Dali “Hommage A Homere” Etchings Suite #82 / 350   Up for auction is a Salvadore Dali “Hommage A Homere” SUITE OF 2 ETCHINGS (set of 2), numbered #82 of 350.  They are titled “Return of Ulysses” and “Helen of Troy”.  My dad purchased these in 1979 or 1980.   “Return of Ulysses” is matted and framed and in good condition.  There are some smudges on the glass of the frame from taking it in and out of the box that I've kept it stored in. The print measures 28” x 22” (unframed).   “Helen of Troy” is not framed and does have some slight damage, which is repairable.  Pics # 7 on left corner you can see a scrape, #6 above signature there is another scuff,  #9 is a scuff that tore the paper back just below angles elbow and is less that ¼” in length, and the 8th picture with there is 1 - 1.5" diameter area that is scuffed.  This is nothing that can't be fixed by a professional art dealer.  I only noticed them when inspecting it at very close range!  This is only on the Helen of Troy picture that has scrapes.  The print was framed at one time, but I believe the frame broke and the glass is what caused the damage; it was displayed above a fireplace and fell against the split stone.  Please carefully review photos, I can email you more pictures if needed.  Print measures 30” x 21”.   I will have the artwork professionally packaged for shipping by an art gallery and will ship UPS.  Shipping will be $125 for both prints, which includes the professional packaging by the art gallery.  I prefer cashiers check, but will take Pay Pal as 2nd choice.  Payment to be made within 7 days of auction end.  Thank you for looking and have a great summer!
