Description
"WET TYLER" A fine art piece created as part of a collection I am presently working on. I was the photographer who did the debut album cover pictures, (please do a google search on my name to see further details) also I was the photographer who's work was exclusively used in the 2006 "Aerosmith in the Beginning" calendar. This piece is both historical and timeless in its flow and feeling which capture not only the music but also the flamboyant personality of Steven Tyler. Bold like the music, yet in this boldness subtle details of movement and rythm flow with strong emotional color that makes this piece of photo-art the only one in the world. Photo-Art will soon become a strong movement, I have created the name and many more pieces, will follow,  from myself and others who like myself are both photographers and artists. I will include a provenance and a signed photograph of the original image used for Aerosmith's first album cover picture. The piece is ready to hang and is self framing, also included in the purchase price is a signed archival print on art paper of the original Album Cover image from 1972.  Complete satisfaction, full cash refund less crating and shipping if this original does not meet your expectations. Please see my feedback over the past seven years. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.technical description:Wet Tyler is a metamorphism from a water damaged negative that was patiently restored, using Adobe Photoshop 5 on a 400mhz. Macintosh G3 computer, some four years ago (2003-4).  I added the digital water drops to his face utilizing the "Eye Candy Filter" named water drops. This Photo Art piece evolved from my experimental work with Lexan, this is a polycarbonate made by GE originally, it is a virtually indestructible transparent plastic sheet which accepts paint and adhesive readily, in thicker section it is the bullet proof plastic one sees protecting the tellers at ones local Bank. I printed the photograph on an epson stylus photo 1280 using 12 mil ink-jet acid free stock sized 13x19 inches> The print seen in the piece is printed with epson archival dye ink on the same stock bonded with 3M spray adhesive and covered with an epoxy two part resin painted with Liquitex Acrylic artist colors in many layers each resin bonded. Decoupaged with lexan  hand painted shapes ( see detail) in the curing resin the photograph is framed and totally integrated into the piece of Photo-Art. The Shapes and colors are synonymous with both the music and personality of the subject. The work was completed earlier this year 2008 and is 29" x 40" in size. The photograph is both historical and unpublished it was taken in my studio, named Studio 69, in Boston, 1971.Thank you for looking at my work, Robert Agriopoulos.
