Works by other artists too. This is an authentic 1897 lithograph in colors on wove paper after Toulouse-Lautrec. It is a lifetime impression done in 1897. (Toulouse-Lautrec died in 1901.) Artist's monograph was transcribed on the stone upper right. A fine impression in olive, red, yellow, and black. Transcribed from Lautrec's 1894 work for Le Theatre Libre for the play Le Missionnaire. The image, Le Loge au Mascaron Dore (The Loge with the Gilt Mask), was published in the monthly series Les Programmes Illustrees des Theatres et des Cafe-Concerts, a collection of programs for theaters and cafe concerts. This series was published in 1897 by Ernest Maindron and printed by Imprimerie Eugene Verneau in Paris. Finished with off-white linen matting and antique gold filet. All materials are archival and museum quality.
