Description
Buy this adorable and hard-to-find, hand-made, Inuit (Eskimo) wall hanging from Nunavut, Canada. Made on heavy blue felt with outside stiching, this wall hanging depicts two people throat singing. The figures are made out of tanned caribou hide. The texture and colours of the hide differ, and the skins were traditionally hunted. Beads and stitching help bring these adorable, traditionally-dressed Inuit singers to life. This piece really stands out. This hanging piece is 12.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Other designs are available. There is a little bit of spotting and light staining on the caribou skins. This is natural, due to the natural quality of caribou skin that was used and available at the time this item was created. Many of these wall hangings are made locally from left-over scraps of caribou hide that were used to make other items of clothing, such as mittens and traditional boots. We ship world wide. Contact us to discuss returns. We ship from the Arctic, so please allow for at least two to three weeks shipping time. All items safely packed and shipped via air. Please feel free to contact seller for any questions, we`re happy to talk to you!Buy this piece today - other designs can be made upon request. Contact seller for more details.
