Holcomb Valley, which was famous for its gold discoveries, seemed pretty tapped out, but I did discover an unusual masterpiece deep in the forest. I recognized it right away. It looked like a bird, a woodpecker. When I turned him around I kind of got a laugh because it looked like a butt. So, I laughed out loud with no one around for miles because I came up with the name “Peckerbutt”. Over the years, many people also have laughed and shared in the same humor. Peckerbutt makes everybody laugh. He’s so unique, I was offered $10,000 for him which I turned down. My daughter is soon to start college so I felt it was time to let my Peckerbutt go so that I could help her finance her schooling. Someday I’m sure some one will pay a hefty price for Peckerbutt.
