CONDITION: This work is in very good condition. DISCUSSION: Offering a dazzling view of Vasarely's revolutionary artistic style, this work plays with the effects of light and dark as well as the use of geometric abstraction. Executed with a balance of color and form, this work creates an optical effect of relief through the use varied shapes and tone, alternating slanted squares and skewed diamond. The artist captures the viewer's attention with the visual effect of two three dimensional forms on a flat surface .
