Please remember you are buying Vintage items that have a long history so there may be odors on clothing and textiles. I do Hand soak / clean and iron some of these items if they are cotton or a sturdy lace, I do not clean silks, rayon, etc. I am not an expert in caring for delicates so I leave that to you the buyer. Be sure to check out our other listings and come back often as we list more items weekly. Better yet mark us as one of your Favorite Sellers so we'll be easy to find !! Up for your consideration here is this Wonderful Set of two Original Vintage World War ll Charcoal drawings. The first one depicts D-Day, the invasion of Normandy, the detail is just amazing with the battle, explosions and paratroopers. The other one depicts The Aleutian Islands Campaign in Alaska. It also has Wonderful detail, look at the faces of the Alaskan Indians and the U.S. soldier ! The Normandy drawing is signed, Wolf - Cox - USC6R The Aleutian one is not signed but I was told they were both by the same Artist. I purchased these at an estate sale and the owner didn't really have much history on them. He said he had bought them at an estate auction about 10 to 12 years ago and a gentleman there said they belonged to his Grandfather and knew nothing else about them. These drawings come framed and are quite large at 33 & 1/2 in. x 29 & 1/2 in. As you can see in the pics these will need cleaned, there is some brown spotting here and there on them, nothing major and it definitely does not deter from how Historically Wonderful they are !! Please feel free to email me with any questions or info you may have. Thank you for stopping by and Good Luck in all of your Ebaying !!
