I am unsure of the medium used to create this piece. When you view it, it appears to be an oil painting on canvas. Though when you look at it closely and touch it, it is definitely painted/printed on wood. There are words on the bottom that read "P.J. Redoute" on the left-hand side and "Victor" on the right-hand side, perhaps some type of signature. Under the pomegranate, there are the words "Grenadier punica". The colors of the painting are warm and rich. The frame is a distressed/rubbed olive color wood. There are a few slight imperfections on the wood frame, but in my opinion, they only add to the character of this piece. The Certificate of Guarantee on the back of the frame reads this art has been "handmade and handcrafted by genuine Florentine Artisian" There is also signature which I believe reads "Georgio". The dimensions, including frame are 22"H x 18"W. I would describe the overall condition of this piece as great with the slight imperfections on frame as noted. The condition of the painting/print itself is excellent. If you are interested, I am also selling a very similar piece with a cluster of grapes.
