He's a cute, Newspaper boy out delivering the papers. He kind of has the old-fashioned 1940's look wearing knickers and cap.He is produced by WAYNESART. Waynesart was a mainstay in South Florida in the 1980's and many of his pieces were sold in shops in gay areas and on Las Olas Blvd. I'm not sure if the artist is still with us or not. This figure is RARE as it bears the artists real name: "W. Hampton". It is also Limited Edition and numbered: "55/100".He measures 12 1/2" high and his base is about 5 1/4" square. He looks to be in Excellent condition structurally. He has a few spots which look like over-glaze to me, mostly along his left elbow. It is not that noticable as you can see from my pics. The base is missing some brown coloring in spots which could easily be filled in.He is not marked with a year but I am guessing the 70's as the artist used his real name on the statue rather than the "WAYNESART" logo from the 80's upward.
