SAVE £1500 The luxury item that rarely comes onto the market with real exclusivity appeal. I have genuine reason to be offering my 2 much loved pieces which are in new mint condition and come in a beautiful gold leaf frame. The postage cost is delivery by courier and insured. It is about half the real price as I believe it appropriate that the cost be split. Arrangements can be made for collection by the buyer if they so wish. The Creation of HRH The Prince of Wales's Signed LithographsPrint and paint have a long and honourable history of collaboration in European Art. While it is rare to come across artists such as Rembrandt, equally at home with the painters brush and the printmaker's tools, many great artists have enjoyed working alongside engravers, etchers, and lithographers over the centuries. It is to such collaborations that we owe the marvellous prints which we think of as Durer's, Turner's, or Picasso's.HRH the Prince of Wales has entered the same tradition with the publication of his lithographs in collaboration with the celebrated printmaker Stanley Jones.Stanley Jones has worked with some of the greatest figures in contemporary art, including Ceri Richards, Barbara Hepworth, Elisabeth Frink, David Hockney, Kitaj, Hugh Casson and, for twenty years, with Henry Moore. The collaboration between His Royal Highness and Stanley Jones has involved them both in lengthy and frequent meetings at each stage, reworking each separate colour with reference to the colours which the Prince uses regularly in his watercolours. The close cooperation which lies at the heart of the printmaking process makes each lithograph a work of art in its own right. As many as twelve colours have been individually identified; hand traced, and then printed one colour per day by Stanley Jones on his 1948 German lithography press. The 100% cotton paper is specially watermarked with the Prince of Wales's feathers. PRESENTATION CASESEach lithograph by HRH The Prince of Wales comes in a beautiful presentation case. The earlier lithographs, from 1990 to 1995 are presented in a lavish linen-bound portfolio with the Prince of Wales's feathers badge embossed in silver on the front. Lithographs published from 1998 onwards come in a beautiful gold leaf frame, and a navy blue presentation box silk-lined and made by Asprey's. WENSLEYDALE FROM MOORCOCK"This part of the Yorkshire Dales is, without doubt, a very special piece of England. It is, in my humble opinion, one of the best examples of God and Man working in partnership over a long period of time to produce something organic and deeply satisfying. Everything seems to 'fit' in some extraordinary way. The undulating countryside invokes a natural rhythm that is almost tangible. The way in which the sky meets the horizon creates a natural harmony that is impossible to resist if you happen to be armed with a few brushes and some watercolour paints."
