I am selling this on behalf of my parents who Wyland designed and painted this for in 1985. The painting represents the mother and father figure starting their journey through the vast ocean with there newborn child. The detail and coloring is exquisite and must bee seen to be appreciated. Not too many Wyland painting's this old are up for sale anymore so were giving you a chance to own something that would make any collection proud. This is believed to be the first Orca treo production.My parents met wyland in the early 80's and began discussion on a painting. Upon return of an alaskan trip they chose to use wylands first sightings of the orca whale as there choice of mammal. this painting is believed to be the first and original orca trio that became famous for robert wyland and was the spawn of many prints and sculptures util;izing three orcas together as one.
