Terry states that he,David Mann and "Fat George" were all friends living in Florida. Terry had a wide glide front end that David needed for a bike that he and george were building. Terry gave them the front end and the painting came along later as payment. The image is Davids rendition of one of Terrys favorite activities:....going to the beach to hang out, pick up chicks, and have a good time. This work is signed lower left and titled "To the beach!" and signed, David Mann Clearwater Beach Fla. 73. In the image Terrys jacket is inscribed" Terrys Child" which is actually the name of his chopper at the time. Dave chose to put the inscription on his jacket. It measures 15x26 and is painted on Crescent illustration board.  Two of the pictures are of David  Mann and Terry Wolf. I purchased this painting at an auction in Lone Jack Missouri ,which is a stones throw away from where Terry and Dave lived.  Bank to bank wire transfers preferred. If you have ever wanted to own a painting by "David Mann", don't let this one slip by. This painting is a portrait of a personal friend, that shows a snap shot of what David was doing at that point in his life. He didn't paint this one for money. He painted it as a "Thank you" to a friend who did him a favor. The quality is that of his best work, with great proportions and detail. It's also of a large size.
